About the Role
The Senior Manager, Finance is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing various financial functions within the organization. This role involves managing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the company's financial plans, including annual budgets, long-term financial forecasts, and financial modeling.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and control budgetary allocations and expenditures across various business areas and/or projects.
- Identify variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee the management of the finance information systems and necessary reports for critical analyses of financial performance.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks that could impact the company's financial stability or profitability.
- Develop risk management strategies and policies.
- Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to meet financial obligations and support day-to-day operations.
- Optimize cash management strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's growth and profitability goals.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws in the regions where the organization operates.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
- Maintain relationships with investors and analysts, providing them with accurate and transparent financial information and responding to inquiries.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements
- Extended financial leadership experience in a related environment, managing people, processes, and budgets to achieve corporate and divisional objectives.
- Extended demonstrable experience with and understanding of the deliverables of a financial function.
- Extended strategic planning experience.
- Extended in-depth knowledge and understanding of the IT industry environment and business needs, combined with strong understanding of business processes.
- Extended experience managing finance operations on a global scale, including knowledge of international taxation, foreign exchange, and regulatory compliance in multiple regions.
