Job Title: Murex Mxml Technical Lead Consultant

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a seasoned technical professional to lead the development and implementation of Murex mxml solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating, configuring, and maintaining complex workflows, interfaces, and reports using MXML Exchange.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop transformation logic to convert source data into Murex understandable format (MxML)
  • Create MxML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange
  • Document functional, technical specification, and test cases for integration
  • Produce exception reports for failures
  • Configure and build Murex Reports for report-based interfaces
  • Build custom tasks in MxML Exchange for specific processing not available through standard task library
  • Work on CRs for BO Workflows including Contract, Event, Deliverable & other Business object workflows
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. At least 10+ years of experience in Murex Mxml Development Back office
  2. Understanding of the Murex system as a whole
  3. Mxml exchange interface/mxml integration experience is mandatory
  4. Experience of Murex upgrade project
  5. Good understanding of Murex 3.1 workflow and MxML, familiar with Event workflow, contract workflow, exchange workflow, deliverable workflow
  6. Good understanding of capital market products
  7. In-depth experience in Murex workflow development involving trade life cycle, creating new system interface workflow, confirmation generation, error management, OSP, etc
  8. Ability to perform business analysis and requirement gathering independently
  9. Experience in UNIX and SQL
  10. Experience in Confirmation Build (Paper/Swift)
  11. Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  12. Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues
  13. Experience on working ISO20022 MX messages
  14. Basic knowledge on financial instruments such as Interest Rate Derivatives, Credit Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Swaps, Futures, Options, FRA, etc
