Job Title:

Team Lead – Subtitling Coordination

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee our Subtitling Coordination team. As a key member of our Localization department, you will be responsible for managing a team of Localization Coordinators and driving their growth and development.

You will also be tasked with scheduling and rescheduling work internally, monitoring team performance, and ensuring all projects within your span are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Supervise: Directly supervise a team of Localization Coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Set Clear Objectives: Collaborate with team members to set clear objectives and align them with the team's vision.
  • Communicate Effectively: Regularly communicate expectations, goals, and feedback to the group.
  • Liaise with Departments: Liaise with the Translator Support team to report linguist pool health and plan capacity for rare languages.
  • Resolve Conflicts: Address conflicts early and facilitate discussions to find satisfactory solutions.
  • Facilitate Meetings: Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and plan future activities.
  • Drive HR Processes: Drive HR processes and policies within the team and support managers as needed.
  • Email Management: Monitor email inboxes to ensure timely responses to emails from community support and freelancers.
What We're Looking For
  • Graduate Degree: A graduate degree in a relevant field is required.
  • English Language Skills: An excellent command of the English language is essential.
  • Time Management: Good time management skills and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Industry Knowledge: A keen interest in the media industry is preferred.
