Artificial Intelligence Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI models and systems that deliver exceptional user experiences through conversational interfaces.

This role involves developing and maintaining AI-driven, real-time speech-to-speech conversational agents, building low-latency, high-impact features that enhance user experiences, designing and implementing end-to-end AI pipelines, optimizing AI systems for performance, scalability, and reliability, and collaborating on defining and tracking success metrics for AI features.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with Python or similar languages, experience building and scaling distributed systems in cloud environments, proficiency in API design, proficiency with generative AI frameworks and tools, hands-on experience with large language models, prompt engineering, demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms like AWS and deployment automation, knowledge of monitoring, observability, and production debugging tools, and familiarity with vector databases.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare or financial services industry
  • Experience building AI voice assistants or conversational agents
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects or GitHub repositories demonstrating relevant work
  • Knowledge of multimodal AI systems combining text, voice, and other inputs
