Senior Tax Leader Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Tax Leader to join our organization.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive tax strategy, ensuring timely compliance with all tax regulations.
  • Liaise with government agencies and stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues and optimize tax benefits.
  • Manage tax audits and assessments, ensuring efficient completion and resolution of notices/SCNs issued by the relevant authorities.
  • Lead indirect tax activities for the organization in various states, implementing best practices and ensuring strict compliance with GST laws.
  • Mentor and train team members on tax policies and procedures, ensuring seamless execution of tax functions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, providing strategic advice to senior management on tax implications and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • CA qualification with 5-8 years of experience in direct and indirect tax.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive business growth through effective tax planning.
