Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth functioning of logistics operations at the unit/plant level, coordinating internal and external teams, as well as managing the workforce.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Dispatch Adherence: Ensure that all dispatch orders are processed by 7 am the next morning, with no more than 2% of clear orders pending at 7 am. Orders received after 9 pm must be dispatched by or before 12 am the next day.
  • DBR's Load Size and Sourcing Mapping: Utilize SAP to map load sizes and sourcing, aiming to save costs in logistics.
  • Platform System Implementation: Implement a live volume display system on signage boards within the unit.
  • Vehicle In/Out Policy Compliance: Adhere to the 100% vehicle in/out policy and comply with safety norms.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Direct Loads from Plant to DB: Increase direct loads from the plant to the delivery point by 5% from the previous year.
  • One Way Trip Increase: Increase one-way trips by 3%.
  • Documentation Verification: Verify documentation, including governance and inventory management, ensuring that sales returns are properly recorded and submitted monthly.
  • POD Collection & System Update: Implement the use of damage bags/PPE sheets and interlayer sheets for STO dispatches.
  • Inbound FG and Inventory Scorecard & Reporting: Manage loading operations to minimize vehicle holding time in the plant/depot, maintaining proper FIFO and separate dedicated decks to increase company trips.
  • INFRA Arrangement: Ensure timely availability of labor, forklift operators, and vehicles in line with the dispatch plan, coordinating closely with Transport Manager and HR.
  • Workforce Management: Review team KRA monthly and share with UCM by the 5th of every month.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • General Awareness: Fundamental understanding of concepts.
  • Working Knowledge: Broad job knowledge, applying full range of concepts and practices.
  • Functional Expert: Certified functional expert with strong knowledge on concepts.
