Financial Manager - Architecture and Design Firm

We are seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join our global architecture and design firm. This role combines project-level financial management with corporate accounting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to communicate financial concepts effectively, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

  • Project Financial Management:
  • Review bids and proposals for financial compliance.
  • Set up projects in ERP systems in line with company policy.
  • Collect and maintain legal documentation for sub-consultants.
  • Provide financial reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses.
  • Ensure revenue recognition compliance with GAAP ASC 606.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare monthly invoices.
  • Support collections and resolve overdue accounts.
  • Assist with project close-out in accordance with company policy.
  • Corporate & Local Finance Management:
  • Maintain accurate corporate and local accounting records.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow forecasts.
  • Handle tax computations and filings.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and financial schedules.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist auditors with year-end closing and documentation.
  • Manage payroll processing and employee cash advances.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years' accounting experience in a professional services environment; AEC industry preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory or management experience.
  • ERP experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with US-GAAP, IFRS, and IND-AS.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
