Veterinary Physician Role

The role of a veterinary physician is critical in ensuring the health and well-being of animals.

Sarvoham Animal Foundation seeks a skilled veterinarian to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medical Examinations: Conduct thorough medical examinations of incoming animals, monitoring rescued animals for signs of illness or abnormal behavior.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Develop treatment plans for various medical conditions, administer medications, vaccinations, and other necessary medical interventions.
  • Pet Follow-Ups: Assess post-recovery animal condition, notify pet owners in case of decease or euthanasia, provide updates on pet conditions.
  • Health Management: Implement health protocols, including vaccination schedules, parasite control, and disease prevention measures, provide food and administer supplements based on medical needs.
  • Emergency Care: Provide emergency medical care to critically ill or injured animals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in veterinary medicine from a recognized institution.
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in the state or jurisdiction of employment.
  • Total 2+ years of experience in clinical veterinary medicine, with a focus on small animal care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions.
  • Extensive experience in preventative care, including vaccinations, parasite control, dental care, and nutrition counseling for pets.
