Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Almighty HRD Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and Spring Reactive.
  • Cloud Services: Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and SQS/SNS to build and manage cloud-based solutions.
  • Microservices: Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, applying domain-driven design principles and RESTful services.
  • Data Management: Work with relational and NoSQL databases on AWS, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Integration: Implement and manage integrations using Apache Camel and Kafka for messaging and data flow.
  • Monitoring and Tracing: Utilize monitoring and tracing tools like Splunk, SignalFx, and New Relic to ensure system health and performance.
  • Continuous Integration: Implement continuous integration practices, including unit testing, static code analysis, and automated integration tests using tools like Jenkins and BMX.
  • Version Control: Manage and maintain code using GitHub, ensuring version control and collaboration best practices.
  • Technical Reviews: Conduct technical code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Agile Practices: Work within Scrum and Agile methodologies to deliver projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams, providing clear communication and working with globally distributed and diverse teams.
  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Leverage exposure to supply chain domain areas such as order management to enhance application functionality and performance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and Spring Reactive. Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and SQS/SNS. Hands-on experience in microservices architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful services. Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores on AWS. Knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools such as Splunk, SignalFx, and New Relic. Familiarity with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests using Jenkins, BMX, etc. Exposure to code management using GitHub. Experience or exposure to supply chain domain areas, particularly order management.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Ability to work with globally distributed and diverse teams. Commitment to performing technical code reviews and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Software development experience with a strong emphasis on backend development using Java and associated technologies.
