Job Title: Microsoft Fabric Architect

The Role In Focus:

This high-level position entails the design and implementation of advanced analytics platforms using cutting-edge technologies. It encompasses a wide range of tasks, from crafting scalable data solutions to overseeing the ingestion-to-insight workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data pipelines, transformations, and storage using Dataflows, Pipelines, Spark, and Delta Lake.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and drive analytical workflows.
  • Establish continuous integration, delivery, and infrastructure-as-code practices with Azure DevOps, ARM, or Terraform.
  • Ensure governance, security, and compliance through Purview integration.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Fabric workloads.
  • Maintain expertise on new Fabric capabilities and mentor junior team members.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years in data engineering, architecture, or analytics experience.
  • 2-3 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, or PySpark programming languages.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services and IaC tools (ARM/Terraform).
  • Familiarity with data governance practices and cloud-based analytics solutions.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Strong understanding of unified analytics design and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Ability to build both batch and real-time data pipelines.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
