Senior Digital Design Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Design Professional to join our team of experts in the development of complex digital systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital design principles and experience with FPGA design, VHDL/Verilog coding, and hardware design.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement digital systems architectures based on customer requirements, including DSP, system, and board architecture
  • Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, managing risks, scheduling, and customer communication
  • Partition algorithms for implementation in FPGA and/or software, identifying building blocks and signal processing functions
  • Provide estimates on FPGA resources, computation bandwidth, and memory bandwidth
  • Create detailed module-level designs from architecture, coding, simulation, and peer reviews, applying methodologies for design, verification, or validation
  • Develop and maintain project-related documentation, including design documents with detailed analysis reports
  • Offer support to customers during integration phases and production teams

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of VHDL, Xilinx tools, and FPGA design principles
  • Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, functional simulation, and hardware design
  • Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog RTL coding, system C/System Verilog, and FPGA synthesis/PAR tools
  • Ability to implement DSP algorithms in FPGA environments for radar and electronic warfare systems
  • Working knowledge of ADCs, DACs, and their performance interpretation
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with configuration/version control tools like SVN
