Financial Accountant Opportunity

About Us:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, analyzing and reconciling bank statements and general ledgers, posting journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue, maintaining and recording fixed assets, preparing and filing local compliance reporting as necessary, and acting as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements
  • Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
  • Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
  • Maintain and record fixed assets
  • Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary
  • Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies

Required Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial records
  • Accounting Software Proficiency: expertise in accounting software TALLY and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are necessary
  • Communication Skills: ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders about financial matters
  • Analytical Skills: needed to identify discrepancies and analyze financial trends
  • Confidentiality: maintaining the confidentiality of financial information

Educational Background:

  • 2+ years' related experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience working with general ledgers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with TALLY, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
