Job Title: Trust Services Manager

Job Description:

  • As a Trust Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • You will communicate with clients and authorities to ensure compliance with legislation, manage trust and corporate entities, and produce legal documents required for day-to-day matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate entities, producing necessary legal documents and being responsible for their relationship, legal, administrative, and banking matters.
  2. Conduct regular reviews of each entity through liaison with clients, trustees, intermediaries, and legal counsel, processing requests and servicing clients in a professional and efficient manner.
  3. Ensure the quality of client files, responsible for all legal, regulatory, and trust matters for the portfolio under management.
  4. Perform legal research and analysis for structuring different variations of trusts and commercial entities, providing pragmatic solutions and legal analysis for implementing trust and commercial structures.
  5. Manage client relationships, operational risk, service level agreements, and coordination of client deliverables, ensuring adherence to the relevant legal/regulatory framework.
  6. Develop and maintain voice and face contact with clients and intermediaries, ensuring that all stakeholders are serviced well.
  7. Achieve financial chargeability targets, monitor transactions, handle pricing, invoicing, and solve payment issues and collection of invoice and outstanding fees for the portfolio of clients.
  8. Anticipate and manage the impact of emerging regulatory, taxation, or legal changes, ensuring compliance-related risks are addressed on behalf of the client.
  9. Support the Local Management Team, Client Acceptance Committee, and Compliance in finding commercial solutions for onboarding and ongoing client administration/service as an appointed member of the CAC.
  10. Maintain up-to-date local office policies and procedures in alignment with local regulations and requirements.

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree and other relevant professional trust-related qualifications.
  • STEP qualification in trust and tax would be highly advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of experience working with trust/estate law, ideally with a business in a similar industry.
  • Strong commercial mindset, takes initiative, positive, proactive, dedicated, focused, and revenue- and target-driven.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, well-developed spoken and written communication skills, and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences.
  • Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
