Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished Product Sourcing Manager to lead our Sports Accessories Buying & Merchandising team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end buying process for sports accessories, developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies, identifying emerging trends, and capitalizing on market opportunities.

This involves negotiating with vendors, maintaining strong supplier relationships, analyzing market data and sales performance, and informing decisions.

Additionally, they will collaborate with design teams on product development, manage inventory levels and forecast demand, ensure product quality and regulatory compliance, conduct competitor analysis and market research, and lead and mentor the buying and merchandising team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Source high-quality sports accessories products
  2. Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies
  3. Analyze market data and sales performance to inform decisions
  4. Negotiate with vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships
  5. Collaborate with design teams on product development
  6. Manage inventory levels and forecast demand
  7. Ensure product quality and regulatory compliance
  8. Conduct competitor analysis and market research
  9. Lead and mentor the buying and merchandising team

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing)
  2. Minimum 7 years of experience in sports/activewear industry
  3. Proven track record in product sourcing and merchandising
  4. Strong understanding of domestic and import supplier base
  5. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant sourcing/planning software
  7. Effective communication and leadership skills
