Automotive Systems Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team in automotive systems expertise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle sub-systems and components.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive diagnostic content for all automotive systems, analyzing vehicle communication bus logs using various tools, and simulating automotive systems using simulator solutions.

They will also design and create workflow or test sequences using integrated development environments, evaluate original equipment (OE) diagnostic data, derive useful insights, and implement the same in target testers.

On-vehicle validation of implemented diagnostic content and creation of test reports will be another key responsibility. Benchmarking and reverse engineering of aftersales & aftermarket diagnostic testers will also be required.

The selected candidate must have proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles and make them roadworthy. They should be able to understand OE system description, service & repair manuals, and independently handle diagnostic testers.

Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from reputable vendors, as well as handling of various OEM testers, is highly desirable. Additionally, good knowledge of wiring diagrams and conventions, and sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939, will be beneficial.

  • Strong vehicle system knowledge, including sub-systems and components
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles
  • Ability to understand OE system description, service & repair manuals
  • Independently handle diagnostic testers
  • Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from reputable vendors

Desirable Skills:

  • Programming languages
  • Knowledge of IMIS+
