We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Foundry Interface Specialist to join our team at Western Digital. Key Responsibilities- Drive STCO/DTCO power-performance-area-cost (PPAC) modeling and simulation to help qualify the best foundry technology.
- Collaborate with internal product/process development teams to define reliability specifications that meet product needs.
- Develop and implement yield and reliability analysis, process flow, and integration development to accelerate advanced CMOS technology qualification and mass production ramp-up.
- Work with integration, module, and 3D packaging teams to identify technology gaps and develop innovative solutions to close them.
- Build relationships with suppliers, key stakeholders, and senior executives to drive multiple product ramp-up and performance boost projects.
- Apply in-depth technical problem-solving and decision-making skills to identify root causes and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable subject.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience working with foundry partners, with a solid understanding of PDK collaterals and deployment in design environments.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle process and yield-related challenges.
- Fluent in English and German, with proficiency in Python, JMP, and in-house systems.
