Job Overview:

Nurses play a vital role in healthcare delivery. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective care coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients' responses to medication.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, addressing patients' medical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Prepare patients for medical procedures or surgeries, assisting them during recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and post-hospital care requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment that adheres to healthcare regulations.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and assist in managing emergency situations effectively.
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in hospital staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Nursing from a reputable institution is required.
  • 0-3 years of experience as a Staff Nurse, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess and respond to patient needs effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Sound knowledge of hospital protocols, hygiene practices, and patient care guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Registration with the relevant nursing council is mandatory.
