**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Finance professional to join our team in India. As the primary finance resource, you will be responsible for completing Finance and Accounting activities of Genworth's India affiliate (GFIPL) to meet India and US GAAP requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review GFIPL transactions and ensure all tax activity is properly recorded.
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
  • Ensure controls are properly executed and maintained.
  • Complete annual budgeting and revenue processes.
  • Maintain GNW India policies and procedures.
  • Perform monthly analysis of GFIPL income statement and balance sheet.
  • Review GFIPL monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
  • Support in-country manager and GNW India team members on financial activities.
  • Recommend and implement GFIPL process improvements for financial processes.
  • Provide India TPA accounting team monthly support documentation as required.
  • Coordinate activities of India TPA accounting team and India regulatory/tax authorities.
  • Liaise with US Finance team on company activities.
  • Lead India Statutory and Tax annual audits in coordination with India TPA accounting team.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives GNW India.
  • Participate as a surge resource as needed.
