Role Overview

A key member of our quality assurance team, the SDET Lead is responsible for defining and executing test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of automation testing principles, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile QA processes.

  • Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using JavaScript and Playwright.
  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including test case development and regression suites.
  • Lead a team of QA engineers, mentoring and guiding them in best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the application development lifecycle.
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience as an SDET Lead / Automation Engineer, specializing in test automation frameworks within the JavaScript ecosystem.
  • Strong hands-on skills in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, with a deep understanding of software testing principles, debugging, and defect reporting.
  • Skilled in automated testing (including Playwright with JavaScript) and experienced in writing and maintaining automated test cases as part of comprehensive test suites.
  • Proficient in test documentation development (test plans, test cases, checklists, regression suites) to support Agile QA processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable regression coverage and faster release cycles.
  • Knowledgeable in SQL, Java, and related systems, enabling integration testing and data validation across different layers.
  • Experienced in Agile frameworks, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement practices.
  • Leadership background in mentoring, guiding, and uplifting automation engineers to ensure best practices and high-quality delivery.
