Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security specialist to join our organization.

This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will drive the architecture and support of network security solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Configure and manage network security devices (firewalls, IPS / IDS, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot network security issues and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other IT staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent military experience required.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in network security roles with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures.
  • Experience with security certifications is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, SASE security, and routing (OSPF / BGP).
  • Strong understanding of network security concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
