Job Title: Senior Network Security Professional

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in network security and firewall technologies to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement secure network architectures using firewalls.
  2. Lead firewall implementations, including policy creation, threat prevention, and integration with management systems.
  3. Configure and manage VPNs, including site-to-site and remote access.
  4. Collaborate with security teams to enforce zero-trust policies, segmentation, and identity-based access.
  5. Monitor and optimize firewall performance and security posture using tools like Panorama and Cisco Firepower.
  6. Conduct firewall rule audits, compliance checks, and vulnerability assessments.
  7. Interface with vendors and support teams for escalations and technical assistance cases.
  8. Maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, firewall policies, and change logs.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. 6+ years of experience in network engineering with a strong focus on firewall technologies.
  2. 3+ years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (including implementation projects).
  3. Strong expertise in Cisco ASA, Firepower, and VPN technologies.
  4. Solid understanding of network security principles, NAT, ACLs, IPS/IDS, and threat prevention.
  5. Familiarity with Panorama, GlobalProtect, and best practices for secure networking.
  6. Experience with Cisco routing/switching is a plus.
  7. Knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud connectivity is a plus.

Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  2. Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) preferred.
  3. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCNP Security required.
  4. Additional certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Networking) are a plus.
