Cloud Systems Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to design, deploy and manage cloud-based systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Implement data engineering pipelines using Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, Sqoop and Oozie.
  • Develop and implement event-driven systems using Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data, including data warehousing and operationalization of ML models on AWS.
  • Build data pipelines for batch, real-time, events synchronous asynchronous processing.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Big-Data Technologies (AWS preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in Scala, Spark, Hadoop Map Reduce, HDFS, Hive, HBase and/or No-SQL Databases.
  • Good command and working experience on Hortonworks Cloudera MapR AWS.
  • Experience gathering and processing raw data at scale, writing SQL queries and building data pipelines.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • AWS Dynamo DB, EKS, Kafka, Kinesis, Glue, EMR.
  • Data Ingestion technologies like Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow, Sqoop and Oozie.
  • ML model deployment scheduling and monitoring on AWS.
