Data Management Expert

  • Design and implement data models that align with business objectives, ensuring consistency across all deliverables.
  • Analyze legacy data models to identify areas for improvement and optimize data architecture.
  • Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders to define data integration requirements and communicate technical designs and decisions.
  • Reduce data redundancy by developing data consolidation strategies and training Business and IT members on data management best practices.
  • Create and maintain data lineage documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Develop current and target state data integration models and flows to support business growth and expansion.

About the Role

  • This position requires a strong commitment to promoting an ethical and compliant culture within the organization.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence teams to develop reporting goals and/or dashboard requirements that drive business insights.
  • Ensure design documentation includes business rules, data security, data quality, lineage, and harmonization to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Support testing and deployment activities as required to ensure seamless delivery of data solutions.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent field, with DAMA Data certifications preferred.
  • At least 4 years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture, with a focus on high-volume processing and performance.
  • Expert understanding of data warehouse design principles and their application in real-world scenarios.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI.
