Senior Data Engineer- Data Modeler Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with expertise in data modeling to join our team. This role involves designing and developing data models to support business intelligence and analytics services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create data models for analytics services that meet business requirements
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling skills to ensure efficient data processing
  • Prioritize data quality and governance in hybrid data environments that leverage distributed and relational database technologies
  • Collaborate with the database engineering team to design optimal physical data models for transactions, normalized, and dimensional models
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and developing data models for analytics services
  • A solid understanding of data warehousing principles, architecture, and implementation in complex environments
  • Experience working with OLTP and OLAP systems
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify areas for improvement in data models
Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in designing complex dimensional data models for analytics services
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and user acceptance testing
  • Proficiency in one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with data quality and governance best practices
