Job Title: Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced software engineer to develop and maintain our company's software applications.

About the Role:

  • Create new features to enhance user experience and functionality
  • Maintain and improve existing features for optimal performance
  • Test and deploy code to ensure high-quality releases
  • Develop back-end components to support front-end development
  • Integrate user-facing elements for seamless experiences
  • Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices
  • Ensure application performance on various platforms

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in web-based software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, Github
  • Familiarity with MVC, REST
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap framework
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum)
  • Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React
  • Experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS)
  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs
