Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions following CRISP-DM methodologies.
  • Utilize optimization techniques, including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics, to find the best solution to complex business problems.
  • Gather business requirements, transform them into technical plans, and execute data processing, feature engineering, and hypothesis testing.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements to existing pipelines.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and competency levels through creation and adherence to guidelines.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years in Data Science/Operations Research.
  • Experience with optimization libraries, such as CPLEX, Gurobi, or ortools.
  • Strong Python coding skills, including Object Oriented Programming concepts, and basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably MS Azure or GCP.
  • Theoretical understanding of machine learning concepts.
  • Experience in CRISP-DM project delivery and Agile project management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge of other programming languages, such as R or SQL.
  • Experience working with Spark (PySpark).
  • Prior experience in Data Engineering, AI Engineering, or Business Intelligence-related roles is welcome.
  • Understanding and application of Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory or Sustainability) are highly valued.
  • A strong statistical/mathematical background is essential.
