Audit Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead large-scale audit teams across multiple sectors and timelines, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant audit outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • End-to-End Audit Execution: Independently oversee statutory audits from planning through final reporting, including management discussions and wrap-up sessions.
  • Team Leadership: Effectively manage multiple teams and their team leads, responsible for staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Compliance & Technical Accuracy: Ensure alignment with auditing standards (SA 200 series onwards) and applicable laws, maintaining the highest level of technical excellence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Client Relationship Management: Own client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, walkthroughs, and closure, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Risk-Based Auditing: Apply risk assessment methodology to focus audit effort on high-impact areas, driving business value and minimizing risk.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of statutory audit experience, preferably in audit firms.
  • Independent Operator: Proven track record of independently closing audits without supervision, demonstrating autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Team Leader: Experience managing multiple teams leads and audit teams simultaneously, showcasing leadership skills and adaptability.
  • Subject Matter Expert: In-depth knowledge of auditing standards and financial statement preparation & review, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Strong Legal Acumen: Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
