Employment Law Opportunities with Top-Tier Firm

This role offers a unique chance to work with a leading Employment Law practice in India.

As a seasoned professional, you will lead complex employment law matters and advise clients on labour law issues including employment contracts, HR policies, compensation structures, termination matters, industrial disputes, disciplinary proceedings, employee misconduct, POSH compliance and internal investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on employment law matters, ensuring they are fully compliant with Indian labour laws.
  • Represent clients before labour authorities, tribunals and other forums as necessary. Draft and negotiate employment-related documentation and settlement agreements.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in Indian employment law and contribute to knowledge management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including litigation, corporate and compliance teams.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates in the practice.

Candidate Profile:

  • LL.B. from a reputable Indian law school.
  • 7–12 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a top-tier law firm or leading in-house legal department.
  • Strong command of Indian labour laws, industrial regulations and case law developments.
  • Excellent legal drafting, research and analytical skills.
  • Business-oriented mindset with excellent client-handling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments independently and under deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative working style.
