Global Financial Leadership Position

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our global financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and oversee month-end activities performed by the team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processes such as journal entry review through Blackline.
  • Develop and implement balance sheet and profit & loss flux analysis in coordination with stakeholders, driving strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of balance sheet reconciliations of general ledgers, ensuring all necessary backups are available and well-documented, and provide feedback to team members with required action plans.
  • Provide expert guidance to audit and tax teams as needed, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Drive simplification projects to enhance financial processes and efficiency, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining.
  • Offer solutions to multiple stakeholders on ad-hoc and regular queries, demonstrating expertise in finance and leadership.
  • Establish strong relationships between the team and stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and alignment.
  • Identify potential solutions to automate manual activities via transformation projects, enhancing overall organizational efficiency.
  • Coach team members to build a strong and cohesive unit, promoting leadership development and growth.

Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in finance controllership or consolidations, inter-company accounting, with a proven track record of success.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting standards and their application, with the ability to adapt to changing regulations.
  • Experience handling reconciliations and month-end close procedures, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Transformation projects experience is highly valued, as is team handling experience and excellent leadership skills.
  • Experience handling multiple stakeholders from different global regions, with a strong understanding of cross-cultural communication.

Preferred Skills:

  • ERP systems knowledge, specifically SAP, with experience in implementing and utilizing these systems.
  • Blackline or similar software experience, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Reporting system experience, including Oracle FCCS and PBCS, with a focus on data visualization and insights.
  • Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to create complex models and reports.
