Job Title: Strategic Portfolio Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing solutions on the ITSM/ITOM modules using best practices, partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements and possible solutions, and taking ownership of complex business requirements and working them to completion.

Responsibilities include managing incident queues, working on remediation to completion, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build requested items.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Skill 1: Strategic Planning

  • Portfolio planning and goal management
  • Hybrid capacity planning

Skill 2: Generative AI Integration

  • Now Assist for SPM (Pro Plus): AI-assisted business case creation, feedback summarization, email project summaries, AI agents for decision support

Skill 3: Platform & Development Skills

  • JavaScript and Glide APIs for scripting and automation
  • Flow Designer and Workflow Editor for automating processes
  • Service Portal and UI Builder for customizing user interfaces
  • REST/SOAP APIs for integrating with external systems

Skill 4: Data & Reporting

  • Platform Analytics for building dashboards and reports
  • Performance Analytics for tracking KPIs across portfolios and programs

Skill 5: Agile & SAFe Frameworks

  • Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for managing agile programs and epics

Skill 6: ITIL & Governance

  • Familiarity with ITIL principles for aligning with ITSM processes
  • Knowledge of investment funding, resource management, and financial planning

Certifications:

  • SPM Implementer Certification
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Agile Implementer Certification

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Effective communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences
