Job Opportunity for Principal Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Principal Engineer to lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle ERP Finance solutions.

This is a key role in our Global ERP Engineering team where you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end finance solutions that meet enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of Oracle Fusion GL and Subledger Accounting processes, ensuring compliance with US reporting requirements.
  • Define and enforce solution architecture patterns for ERP–EPM integrations covering FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, and EPRCS.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle delivery of finance solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment and hypercare support.
  • Partner with finance leadership to align technology capabilities with financial close, budgeting, and reporting cycles.
  • Provide architectural oversight for data flows, reconciliations, EDMCS governance, and reporting across ERP and EPM.
  • Lead the design and oversight of integrations within Oracle ERP/EPM and with external platforms and vendor-owned applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient data flows.
  • Mentor engineers and senior engineers, guiding technical reviews and ensuring solution quality.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and global ERP leaders to drive long-term roadmap execution.

Requirements:

  • 12-15 years of experience in Oracle ERP/EPM, with proven delivery of Fusion GL and Subledger Accounting modules.
  • Strong expertise in integrating General Ledger with ERP and EPM modules.
  • Deep understanding of finance business processes, including GL close, sub-ledger accounting, reconciliations, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Outstanding leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to set direction and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proven experience leading multi-phase ERP/EPM implementations using SDLC methodology.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and mentor global teams.
  • High level of adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to translate complex finance requirements into practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle certifications (ERP/EPM) are preferred, and Principal Engineers are expected to maintain certifications to support delivery excellence.
  • Exposure to tax and regulatory reporting (IFRS, GAAP).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native tools, OIC, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View.
  • Experience working in large, global, matrix organizations.
