Role OverviewWe are seeking a User Experience Designer to join our team on a remote internship basis. As a UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our Shopify themes. Your expertise will help us deliver visually polished and optimized designs that meet the evolving needs of online shoppers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and apply design thinking principles to create user-centered interfaces.
  • Develop visual designs and prototypes that reflect our brand's aesthetic and values.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize user experiences and drive business growth.
  • Evaluate designs for functionality and aesthetics, ensuring they meet our high standards.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in User Research and Design Thinking principles, with a proven track record of applying them in real-world projects.
  • Expertise in Visual Design and User Experience (UX) design, with a strong portfolio that showcases your skills.
  • Ability to create functional and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate your design vision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in distributed teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Shopify themes is a plus, but not required.
  • Candidates must have a degree in Design, HCI, or a relevant field, and be passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends.
