Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Storage Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in managing and maintaining complex storage infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hitachi storage solutions, including mid-range and enterprise storages, as well as experience with zoning via Cisco SAN switches.

Job Description

As a Storage Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our SAN and storage environments. This includes collaborating with customer support teams, participating in problem solving and troubleshooting, and supporting the design, operation, workflow, and issue resolution for the storage infrastructure.

You will also be responsible for tracking existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth, maintaining storage documentation, procedures, and reporting, and providing Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in handling majority of activities mentioned in the scope above
  • Experience in handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hitachi Technical certification is desirable
