Senior DevOps Engineer Lead

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in deployment automation, configuration management, orchestration, containerization, and CI/CD automation tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To deliver DevOps automation projects globally by managing offshore teams, collaborating with dev and ops teams, and setting expectations with stakeholders.
  • To promote technology reuse and process improvements by contributing to internal tool development.
  • To participate in sales engineering activities such as understanding client needs, proposing solutions, implementing PoCs, defining scope of work, and arriving at estimates.
  • To guide team members with day-to-day activities and train them on new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • To stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and introduce new service offerings from the DevOps Centre of Excellence.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in independently handling deployment automation projects using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration Management, Orchestration, containerization, and CI/CD automation tools.
  • AWS DevOps professional certification and Linux Administration background is a must.
  • A deep understanding and hands-on skills in at least four of these tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS EKS, Docker Images, Volumes, Secrets, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline.
  • A good understanding of networking, security rules, firewalls, WAF, API gateways, and auto-scaling principles.
