Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and user-friendly websites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly websites.
  • Customize and implement website themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors on our websites.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the resolution of reported issues.
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party plugins to enhance website functionality.
  • Customise and extend plugin functionalities as needed.
  • Write clean and efficient code to extend website functionality as needed.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Ensure a seamless user experience by implementing responsive design principles.
  • Regularly update and maintain existing websites to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect our websites from potential threats.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends and apply best practices for website security.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to implement on-page SEO best practices on our websites.
  • Monitor website performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Optimize website performance for speed and responsiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance testing and implement improvements.
  • Update and maintain website content using CMS.
  • Ensure content is well-organized, SEO-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of website configurations, updates, and custom features.
  • Provide clear and detailed documentation for other team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in developing PHP, ReactJs, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with PHP frameworks / platforms such as WordPress, Joomla development, customization, and plugin integration.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress, and related websites.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
