We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Engineering to lead the build-out of our India Development Center from the ground up. This role will own the architecture and technical strategy for scalable e-commerce platforms serving both B2B and B2C customers.
This includes guiding architectural decisions and leading engineering excellence across the board, collaborating with global product and design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences, and having a strong grasp of platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development.
The ideal candidate will have 14-18 years of experience in software engineering, with 12+ years in software engineering and 5-6 years in the Ecommerce domain. They should also have experience handling teams of 30+ and guiding them in building performant, secure, and modular systems for web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide architectural decisions and lead engineering excellence across the board.
- Collaborate with global product and design teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Have a strong grasp of platform architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native development.
Requirements:
- 14-18 years of experience in software engineering.
