We are seeking a highly skilled VFX Mentor to join our team and take our expertise to the next level. To achieve this goal, we need an experienced professional with a strong background in Hollywood film productions to mentor and direct our artists.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive training on Houdini Software for Film and Advertising needs, covering basic to advanced levels in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Prioritize teaching RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.
  • Teach artists how to create convincing Lookdev results for clients.
  • Offer solutions for integrating Houdini with Autodesk Maya and Blender or vice versa.
  • Develop effective and efficient teaching methods to enhance individual skills of in-house VFX Artists.
  • Share experience as a VFX Artist in the global cinema world.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation, or TV series.
  • In-depth knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and production process.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini.
  • Familiarity with compositing principles (Nuke preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Artistic skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English language.
