This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical payments and transaction banking platforms.

The successful candidate will drive technical execution excellence, architecture alignment, and delivery rigor across global transformation engagements.

  • Lead the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of large tech programs in the payments and transaction banking space.
  • Drive engineering rigor across Java-based platforms, Microservices, APIs, and integrations.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of platforms being delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead technical teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.

Program Management:

  • Oversee multiple streams of work, ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment are met.
  • Implement strong governance frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

Team Development:

  • Develop high-performing technology teams through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Encourage innovation and a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate project status, progress, and outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on technical matters and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong technical background with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, Microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Proven delivery experience of enterprise-scale payment systems, transaction platforms, and cash/channel banking applications.
  • Deep domain knowledge in digital payments, RTGS/NEFT, UPI, ISO20022, SWIFT, and reconciliation systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
