Job Opportunity: Modernize Legacy Applications

Our organization is seeking an experienced .NET architect to lead the modernization of our legacy applications into scalable, cloud-native solutions using .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.

This role requires a strong background in DevOps, security best practices, and mentoring development teams. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), as well as expertise in building and migrating applications to SaaS architectures.

  • Drive containerization efforts with Docker & Kubernetes
  • Define and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.
  • Enforce best practices in SaaS multi-tenancy, security, and data isolation
  • Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to align technical direction with business goals
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor development teams
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal Azure/AWS services for migration and greenfield development
  • Define performance benchmarks and perform system tuning
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET stack, including ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms – Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in building and migrating applications to SaaS architectures
  • Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB) in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with AKS/EKS and serverless computing (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda)
  • Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, OAuth2, OpenID Connect
  • Prior experience modernizing monolithic apps into cloud-native architecture
