Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be a core technical member within our algorithmic team.

You will design, develop, and optimize low-latency trading products across asset classes, ensuring robust and scalable systems.

The role involves:

  • Architecting, building, and maintaining low-latency trading and data-processing systems using C++ or C#.
  • Optimizing performance-critical system components, focusing on speed, scalability, and reliability.
  • Developing and consuming REST APIs for trading, market data, and internal services.
  • Designing and implementing solutions integrating with SQL databases (MySQL, MS-SQL), ensuring data integrity and query performance.
  • Developing modules leveraging sockets programming, multi-threaded design patterns, and asynchronous workflows.
  • Collaborating closely with algorithmic researchers, traders, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into robust technology solutions.
  • Supporting real-time production systems, including rapid problem diagnosis, root cause analysis, and rollout of fixes.
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of our codebase, development processes, and deployment pipelines.

Required Skillset:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience programming in C++ or C#, with substantial contributions to performance-critical systems.
  • Deep experience working with MySQL, MS SQL (normalized schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Strong background in REST API development, client-server communication, and networking (sockets).
  • Advanced understanding of multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and resource management.
  • Proven ability to design, review, and maintain high-quality, production-grade systems.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have:

The following skills are desirable:

  • Experience building ultra-low-latency trading infrastructure (exchange or brokerage connectivity, FIX/FAST/protocols).
  • Familiarity with high-availability architectures, message queues, caching, and distributed systems.
  • Experience in capital markets, trading, or fintech environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
  • Prior experience integrating with OMS/EMS or broker APIs.
