Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced High Performance Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining high-performance Linux systems in a demanding trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide L3-level support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems in a high-availability, low-latency trading environment.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of kernel-level issues, network stack optimizations, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Configure and tune systems for ultra-low latency, including CPU isolation, NUMA balancing, and huge pages.
  • Design and manage HA cluster setup.
  • Ensure precise time synchronization across trading servers using NTP/PTP.
  • Leverage kernel bypass technologies like Solar flare to optimize network throughput.
  • Collaborate with networking and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
  • Ensure 24x7x365 uptime and performance for mission-critical systems.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Linux system administration, with deep expertise in RHEL.
  • Experience in low-latency system design, especially for financial services or trading platforms.
  • Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and monitoring tools like Grafana.
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python or Ansible).
  • Certifications like RHCE, RHCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to ITIL practices and change management workflows.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 mission-critical environment.
