Network Operations Center Engineer
  • Leads a team responsible for 24/7 support, ensuring seamless network operations.
  • Has extensive knowledge of network hardware, including firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.
  • Skilled in cloud networking on AWS and GCP platforms.
  • Expertly troubleshoots network and security issues across DC and cloud services.
  • Collaborates with network architects to design and enhance network models.
  • Manages vendor-partner teams for software deployment, updates, and maintenance on network devices and cloud services.
  • Effectively schedules and manages activities to drive project closure.
  • Implements security measures and conducts thorough testing.
  • Coodinates with vendors and plans network capacity.
  • Experienced in team management, vendor relations, and technical leadership.
  • Guides teams in hardware troubleshooting and analysis for effective resolution.
  • Maintains accurate records of network closures and coordinates with teams for resolution.
  • Proficient in Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies.
  • Familiar with key technology vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco, AWS VPC, and GCP.
  • Ensures compliance with data center audit requirements and maintains important documentation.
  • Develops SOPs and policies to address team functionality gaps.
  • Manages network inventory, configuration documents, and change management processes.
  • Knowledgeable about IPS, IDS, geofencing, IPsec, VPN, VPC, security groups, and related security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team providing 24/7 support for seamless network operations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and partners for software deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with architects to design and enhance network models.
  • Troubleshoot network and security issues across DC and cloud services.
  • Implement and test security measures to ensure network integrity.
  • Coordinate with vendors for capacity planning and network optimization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in network operations, preferably in a NOC environment.
  • Deep understanding of network hardware, cloud networking, and security protocols.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with vendor management, software deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and cloud platforms.
