Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Professional to lead our GST compliance efforts and ensure seamless financial operations. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with 2–5 years of experience in managing GST filings, input tax credit claims, and monitoring GST notices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-2B matching) to maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Accurate input tax credit claims and reconciliation to minimize errors and optimize refunds.
  • Monitoring GST notices and responding promptly to address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Assistance in GST audits and liaison with consultants or statutory auditors to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Staying updated on changes in GST laws and implementing necessary changes to stay compliant and adapt to evolving regulations.
  • Finalization and recording of sales transactions and related accounting activities to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • B2B accounts receivable reconciliation to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Regular reconciliation of customer accounts against sales, payments, credit notes, and GST filings to maintain a balanced ledger.
  • Tracking and following up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debt.
  • Reconciling B2B invoices with GSTR-2B/2A for ITC validation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Resolving mismatches between books and GST portal entries to prevent errors and optimize refunds.
  • Coordinating with internal departments for dispute resolution to ensure fair outcomes and minimal disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com), or Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Proficiency in ERP Tally to manage financial operations efficiently.
  • Knowledge of GST laws to ensure compliance and adapt to evolving regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience to bring relevant expertise and insights to the role.
