Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex software systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Leverage your expertise in software engineering to lead technical initiatives, provide guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, identify trends, and recommend strategic investments.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Project Delivery:
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including product management, design, and engineering teams.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong background in C++ programming language.
  • Experience with large-scale design patterns, Linux operating system development, and concurrent programming.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and source code control systems (e.g., GitHub).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to motivate and lead teams to achieve goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong object-oriented programming background in C++.
  • Ability to write high-quality code with attention to detail.
  • Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs.
  • Knowledge of software development processes and tools like debuggers, profilers, and source code control systems.
