Technical Author Position

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to create and revise Service Bulletins (SBs) for aircraft programs. This role requires expertise in authoring high-quality SBs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and revise SBs as per requirements, using analysis skills and technical knowledge.
  • Analyze configurations to identify pre- and post-drawings, applying RSE processes like UPG.
  • Stay up-to-date with Airbus standards, including S1000D, iSpec 2200, and ASD STE – 100.
  • Perform thorough analysis of criteria and related data sources.
  • Utilize SAP PCS and Authoring Tools in SAMM DACAS, TAKSY, GIDOCA, GYPSY, Airn@V, ZAMIZ, PASS SSCI, APS.
  • Understand the concept of cold working SBs.
  • Determine work location based on Aircraft Zone and Access study.
  • Implement precise sequences of the authoring process, following Quality Plan guidelines.
  • Establish realistic timelines and commitments with project leaders.
  • Engage actively in customer communication for any queries or issues.
  • Use Arbor text or Epic editor to analyze, mock-up, and author SBs.
  • Maintain quality (RFT) and KPIs for assigned tasks.
  • Effectively manage workload and ensure OTD (on-time deliveries) and quality.
  • Understand workflow processes, including quality check, INC & DCR.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis methods, such as 5 Why and 8D (NCR).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with aeronautical engineering industry experience.
  • AME with airline experience and SB authoring skills.
