Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to lead our data migration initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing data migrations across various projects, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop data migration strategies, scopes, and roadmaps in alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.
  • Manage the migration of master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to the target platform.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to validate and test data in the target system.
  • Implement automated and repeatable data migration processes.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for a major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementation.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN etc.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Project Management Skills.
