Big Data Expert

We're seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join our innovative team. This key role involves designing and developing robust data pipelines handling high-volume financial data from stocks, cryptocurrencies, and third-party sources.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Big Data Engineering or Data Engineering in financial or crypto domains, with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design end-to-end data pipelines for stock, crypto, and financial datasets.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and data feeds into internal systems.
  • Develop and optimize batch and real-time data ingestion, storage, and transformation workflows.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to provide clean, structured, and scalable datasets.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement ETL/ELT best practices, data governance, and security protocols.
  • Contribute to the scalability and automation of our data infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Big Data Engineering or Data Engineering in financial or crypto domains.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data systems.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Flink, and Prefect.
  • Experience with cloud platforms AWS, GCP, or Azure and data warehousing in Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift.
  • Knowledge of API integrations and real-time streaming data handling.
  • Familiarity with databases and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of stocks, cryptocurrencies, and financial data structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle large-scale data challenges.
