We're looking for a highly skilled professional to drive responsible AI innovation at the speed of progress.

  • Aceelerate innovative solutions by providing world-class AI safety services that enable rapid deployment of new models and applications without compromising on safety.
  • Influence industry standards by establishing scalable tools, clear benchmarks, and best practices that set the standard for AI safety.
  • Drive customer success through seamless integration of safe and rapid innovation into customer workflows.

What you'll do:

  1. Lead and inspire your team (AI engineers, platform engineers, and a product manager):
    • Set clear goals, mentor team members, and foster a culture of collaboration and rapid learning.
    • Implement agile processes prioritizing speed without sacrificing quality or security.
  2. Collaborate closely with customers to understand and address their AI safety challenges:
    • Engage directly with customer teams to understand their innovation objectives, pain points, and safety requirements.
    • Translate customer needs into actionable roadmaps aligned with their innovation cycles.
  3. Deliver tools and services ensuring AI applications are aligned, robust, interpretable, and safe:
    • Oversee development of platforms for alignment assessments, adversarial testing, drift detection, and interpretability analysis.
    • Make informed build vs. buy decisions optimizing speed and customer integration.
  4. Champion engineering excellence in high-stakes environments:
    • Establish secure coding practices, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
    • Ensure system reliability through defined SLAs, SLOs, rigorous testing, and operational dashboards.
  5. Continuously innovate within AI safety methodologies:
    • Stay current with cutting-edge research in AI safety, adversarial testing, and model evaluation.
    • Pilot emerging techniques enhancing our offerings and accelerating customer deployments.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years managing technical teams or complex projects.
  • Proven track record delivering AI, ML, or data-intensive platforms or services.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, coaching, and talent development.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills bridging technical concepts with customer value.
