Job Title: Trade Facilitation Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trade Facilitation Executive to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth trade facilitation processes across India.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and updating export files and Bill of Lading (BL) details in the LARA system on a pan-India basis.
  • Updating all remarks received from the Intermodal Team regarding import and export cleanup files.
  • Handling export invoice requests for information (RFI's) within the established turnaround time (TAT).
  • Responding to various queries received from vendors, GBS Team, and customers.
  • Ensuring timely provision of Shipper's Delivery Order (SDO) and Shipper's Declaration Document (SDD) codes.
  • Following up with vendors and the GBS Team for outstanding bills payments to ensure a smooth payment process and updating the Receivable team accordingly.
  • Following up with vendors until issues are resolved.
  • Daily coordinating with the Mumbai Intermodal Team for freight order generation and COL updates on the LARA and LISA systems within TAT.
  • Preparing various reports related to intermodal moves on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Addressing and resolving service-related issues or escalations in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Performance Metrics
  • To ensure regular follow-ups are conducted.
  • To prepare various reports on a weekly/monthly basis within the given deadlines.
  • To respond promptly to any query or message; verbal communication is not acceptable.
Qualifications
  • A graduate degree is required.
Required Skills
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proactive/self-motivated/hardworking attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools, particularly Excel and Power Presentation.
