Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance (QA) professional to lead our testing efforts at Backgammon Galaxy. As a leader in the QA field, you will be responsible for defining quality standards and best practices, designing and implementing test automation strategies, and collaborating with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and mentoring the QA team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and training to perform their roles effectively.
  • Designing and implementing test automation strategies for regression and performance testing, using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and BrowserStack.
  • Establishing and maintaining QA processes across Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), Backend (Elixir/NodeJS), and Infrastructure (Kubernetes).
  • Collaborating with product and development teams to ensure that quality is integrated into every stage of development.
  • Driving continuous improvement in testing methodologies and processes, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Managing test environments and coordinating testing activities across platforms.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed test documentation and reporting, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements include:

  • MSc/BSc in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, BrowserStack.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript.
  • Experience testing Web (React), Mobile (Flutter), and Backend (Elixir/NodeJS).
  • Performance testing experience (JMeter, K6, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and database testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience working in startups and remote teams.
  • Self-driven, organized, and proactive.
